In the 1960s, Shizuoka Wallpaper Mfg. Co., Ltd., the predecessor of Oigawa Kudzu-fu, supplied Kudzu-fu wallpapers and natural fiber wallpapers to Sanderson. A sample book from that time still remains in our company's archive.

Japanese Kudzu-fu wallpapers have been exported to the UK since the 1900s and were extremely popular, coinciding with a boom in Japanese culture at the time.
The Victoria and Albert Museum in London houses Kudzu-fu wallpapers from that era in its collection.
